Help Us Keep Growing With Our Community!
The public library is an American institution. We serve everyone
in the community from toddlers to senior citizens, home-schoolers to
college students, job seekers to genealogists.
Please consider a gift to your library to help us continue to provide
informational resources, quality literature and entertainment materials
to our community. There are many ways you can contribute to the
library:
- The Victor Free Library's Annual Campaign
- An annual fund raising
campaign held to request funds to help keep the library collection
growing, fresh and useful. Tax deductible gifts in any amount,
$10, $25, $50, more or less, are great fully appreciated. If your
employer has a matching gift program, check to see if the library
qualifies for a match.
- Buy-a-Book for the Library
- Every April, during National
Library Week and every November during Children's Book Week the library
holds a Buy-a-Book campaign. Newly purchased children's books are
put on display. Patrons are encouraged to come to the library and
choose one (or more!) to purchase for the library. Bookplates are
put in each book purchased. Over the years Buy-a-Books have been
purchased by individuals, families, as honor books for a favorite
grandparent, birthday gifts to honor a favorite grandchild
or memorial gifts to remember a loved one. Buy-a-Book donations
are tax deductible.
- Memorial Gifts
- Memorial gifts can be given
to preserve the memory of a special person, to honor someone or to
commemorate a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary.
Memorial gifts are acknowledged through a notification card to the
donor and family of the honoree. A bookplate is placed in each
book. Memorial gifts are tax deductible and used to purchase
library materials. Memorial gift envelopes are available at the
library. For more information contact the library.
- Another way to support the library is to become a member of the Friends!
