Discussion Program
A series of group book discussions and programs with guest
authors. Copies of the book to be discussed that month may be reserved
for you by coming into the library or by logging onto the library's website
and placing the hold yourself. All discussions will be held in the
library's Malone Meeting Room at 7pm.
September 11 Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards
October 9 The Master Butcher's Singing Club by Louise Erdrich
November 13 The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett The film, The Maltese Falcon, which is
based on the detective novel of the same name, will be shown at this time followed by a
discussion of the novel and the
movie. This program is being held in conjunction with Writers
and Books and the National Endowment for the Arts "Big Read" initiative.
