How do I register for a Library Card?

On your first visit to the Library, bring some identification with your current address. This can be a driver's license, car registration, checkbook, utility bill, etc. We can then issue you a card and you can begin borrowing.

Children as young as five (5) years old can obtain a Library Card when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

I forgot my Library Card!

It is very important to bring your library card with you.  We are unable to loan materials without your card.  We will be happy to keep your items at the front desk for 24 hours until you can come back with your card..

How long can library materials be kept?

At the Victor Free Library, our normal loan period is three (3) weeks. Exceptions:

* Framed prints: 4 weeks
* Video tapes and DVDs: 1 week
* Holiday books: 1 week

There is a 20 cent a day fine for late library materials. The maximum fines are as follows:

* Adult, Children and Young Adult books: $3.00
